In this statement, I explain how I use the data that you provide me with. You may contact me at any time to enquire about what specific data I hold on you.
What kind of data I may collect:
Data received via engagement with christinalynncreative.com extends to name, email address, age, gender-identification, sexuality, religious affiliations, social media public profiles (such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram), general location, IP address, details relating to wedding venues and dates, information on whether you are a bride-to-be or creative entrepenuer.
If you are a confirmed client, I may also receive your home address and billing address.
Why I need this data:
I need to know this basic personal data in order to get in touch with you regarding your services and to send you relevant marketing information. The type of data I require is dependent upon your relationship with Christina Lynn Creative.
If you are a client, the data I receive from you is used for the sole purpose of providing you with your goods and services in the following ways: taking payments, providing you with your photography services, processing photo product orders, and sending final products to your postal address and online portals. Information relating to age, gender, sexuality, and religious affiliation is for the sole purpose of catering to the unique, necessary needs of your wedding day by allowing me to be conscious of any cultural or personal backgrounds that might affect how I perform my vendor duties as your photographer.
If you are an email subscriber, I use your basic personal data to keep you updated about blog posts, relevant offers, and email newsletters that you have explicitly opted-in to receiving.
In all cases of clients, website users, and email subscribers, I may gather information relating to your general location, IP address, page visits, and where you came from to access my site. I gather this information in order to analyse general trends so that I can cater my marketing and content to the most relevant websites and demographics. This analysis is based on general data information and not you as an individual. Your IP address is encoded and is not visible to me.
How your data is shared:
Your data is not, under any circumstances, sold or rented on to any third party.
I may share your information in the following ways:
- To provide affiliates (such as PayPal, Loxley Printing, or postal services) with the necessary information to process payments or provide photo products that were ordered by a client.
- To third parties if I believe that disclosure is advisable or necessary to comply with the law, to enforce or apply my terms and conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of myself or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
- To process my own insurance coverage as a vendor at particular wedding venues that require additional insurance coverage.
- To provide any relevant second-shooter with the necessary information that they will need in order to provide the best photography coverage of your wedding.
